background: Slane was once a proud king. His people loved and trusted him and were happy, Other kings respected him though they bickered, And many seemed to come to serve him out of desire. It wasn't until he married that things changed in his peaceful kingdom. A young woman had married him seemingly out of love for him betrayed him many times. Slane worked in his study one night working on a way to keep prosperity flowing through the land without leading his people into war when he heard a strange noise. He promptly investigated the noise as he made sure everyone was always fine only to discover that it was his beloved queen and his best friend making love in a hidden room. Shocked and distraught at witnessing this betrayal, He forced the image out of his head repressing the image as he thought it was nothing but a nightmare and passed out there. The next morning he awoke in bed weak and tired and didn't know what to think. He then walked down to the dining hall for breakfast to see his beloved waiting there for him. Upon going to kiss her he was stabbed by her in the stomach. Agony and rage filled him yet he was overpowered and repeatedly stabbed by her. Tears filled his eyes as he couldn't take the pain and his friend and knight commander Alistair helped the queen of the damned rip open his chest and tear out his still beating heart and then reveal a final betrayal onto him before crushing his heart together. She was pregnant with Alistair's child. All of this drove the once great king to chose to fall to the pit of hell. There he suffered in torment for 10,000 years of endless torture only to be appointed as a new lord of hell. The king of the now Valley of eternal Despair where he plots his return to rip his queen and former friend from the cycle of reincarnation to face the toll for their sins and betrayal.

Slane, Finally being given his key and forsaken crown, was now able to rise to earth to take his vengeance on the reincarnation of his former wife and former best friend. During the cold, snowy night of winter, a cruel blood red death gate from hell opened up upon the ground, releasing Slane from it in a large blood red sludge. It seemed just by his arrival upon the earth again, He was already causing death and despair around him and it was time for his hunt.
